Goodbyes

I'm not sure exactly why this quote stuck out to me so much. Maybe it is the simple truth hidden behind it. Maybe it is the broken heart hiding within the writing that speaks out to me. These words spoken by a boy who knew the pain of goodbyes, who knew the feeling of being forgotten. A feeling that is like no other, that you push down and refuse to think about but the longer you avoid the feeling and it stays hidden, the deeper it grows. Until it is a fire that consumes you and hardens into a pulsing anger. Being forgotten by someone you love is a pain that can never be forgotten.
